One of the best things about StoryboardThat is its versatility. In a history class, you could put kids in small groups and have them create a time line of events. In a creative writing section of an English class, you could assign kids a storyboard to teach plot elements, character, and setting.
Here are some additional ideas.
And here are links to some fine examples:
- Elements of Dystopia
- Events and Causes Leading up to the American Revolution (1607-1776)
- Health and Wellness
- King Lear
- Letter from a Birmingham Jail
- Of Mice and Men
- The Hero's Journey
- The Lottery
- The Missouri Compromise of 1820
- The Presidency of Richard Nixon and the Watergate Scandal
- The Rhetorical Triangle: Ethos, Pathos, Logos
- To Kill a Mockingbird
- Twelfth Night
StoryboardThat offers a really nice selection that spans most subjects.
Here is a getting started video.
Happy Techmas Everyone!
