Hello! How was your week? The weather in Wisconsin has been perfect this week and I'm loving getting outside each day to enjoy it. My goal has been to walk at least 2 miles each day and I've held to that almost every day this year since January 1, 2021!  It has helped me with stress management and energy levels.  Here is a little peak at a few things that have made my week. 1. A few teachers have asked me what type of wireless mouse I recommend for a Chromebook. I like the Logitech brand. One teacher shared with me that she purchased this mouse and this usb adapter and she loves it! 2.  I watched the new Cinderella movie over the weekend and I loved how Cinderella is portrayed as a girl boss who aspires to be a fashion designer. To top it off the cast members are amazing and music is so perfect and enjoyable! I've been listening to the playlist on Spotify all week. I highly recommend this modern remake of Cinderella.  3. I listened to a few podcasts this week....

It has been a week filled with great technology learning moments. I attended the Amplify CollaborateIT conference on Tuesday. Here are some of the incredible takeaways from the keynote speaker, John McElligott who talked about Embracing Disruption . John works at York Exponential in Pennsylvania. He spoke about Robotics ,  Humanized Computing and mind controlled bionic arms OH MY!  To say the least, I was in my techy element. This week I listened to this podcast - Is Facebook Spying on You? Have you experienced talking about a product and then having it appear on your Facebook Ads? This book was recommended to me and I’m going to start reading it over Thanksgiving break. It’s about coping with the exponential increase in computing power. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. A friend made me a turkey placeholder like this one .  Simple and fun!

This week I listened to Chop Wood, Carry Water on Audible. (Thank you for the recommendation Jackie .) This book is read by the author, Joshua Medcalf, and is a story about living life and perseverance. I love that it helped me to reflect on my own life and experiences.   Click here for some of the inspirational quotes from the novel. Have you heard of the Google Teacher Tribe Podcast by Matt Miller and Kasey Bell?  I listened to a few episodes this week and they are fantastic for a Google Guru like myself.
