Homecoming week is coming to an end for us at Oshkosh North High School. Having all of the fun dress up days, hall decorating, the parade, the tailgate, the game and the dance has been such a blessing after having to cancel everything last year.  I loving all of the excitement and school spirit. Here are a few Links and Loves from this week: #1 - Google Chrome had a recent update. One of the updates that Google is working on is to add more gestures to how we interact with a touch screen. So, when presenting a Google Presentation, instead of tapping on the screen to advance the slides, a person now can use a swipe to advance. Watch this video from Heartland Technology to see the swipe advance in action.   #2 Google Docs has a new update to allow the user to add a Watermark on a document. Happy Fall Ya’ll Today is my Friday, so I’m sharing some Links and Loves a little early. I want to try making these pumpkins - this is called Hydro Dipping and it is sooooo interesting!  Or perhaps I will make these since they look simple. This is an excellent video for National Stop Bullying Month (October) The people of Puerto Rico are getting some help with Internet through Project Loon.  Read more about Project loon and other moonshot thinking projects here. Padlet now has voting and grading . Woo Hoo!  I use Padlet all of the time. One of my goals this fall is to eat healthy and prep meals for the week on the weekend. Here are some recipes I’ve been giving a try.  I made the Quinoa and Mushroom Stuffed Acorn Squash and it was so flavorful! And because I had a lot of leftover Quinoa, I also made this recipe .
