Artificial Intelligence Impacts Us Every Day AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is a part of each of our lives and the lives of our students, whether we realize it or not.  Here are just a few examples of how AI can impact our day. Yesterday was a challenging day for our school because of a situation that brought about an hour long hard lockdown. I'm so thankful for our teachers who showed amazing professionalism, support and consideration for our students and staff. #TogetherWeAreBetter This Saturday, I will be presenting a SimpleK12 Webinar on Mobile Makerspaces: Tinkering with STEAM . This webinar is free and I will be sharing many ways to involve students in STEAM activities that are moveable and mobile and are fairly easy to implement. I love sharing all of the innovative things we are working on and using. In other exciting news, I have been given the amazing opportunity to be an instructor for a course called Artificial Intelligence Explorations and Their Practical Use in Schools. This summer is going to be a fun-filled and exciting one. Here are a few things I have planned professionally. On June 14th, I am presenting at the Summer Technology Institute in our district. In June I’m attending the ISTE conference in Chicago. ISTE is the best of the best when it comes to technology conferences.  I will be presenting for both ISTE and for Innovative Educator Consulting . Don’t worry, I’ll be sharing all that I learn! Starting in June I will be teaching an online course on Artificial Intelligence. Teachers around the nation will be joining the course though ISTE U. The possibilities of using AI with students in the classroom is truly exciting. In June and August I will be presenting at various school districts.
