TGIF and happy homecoming to Oshkosh North Spartans! It's been an enjoyable week of activities and dress up days. I remember the fun I had in high school playing in the marching band (I was a percussionist) and attending the Friday homecoming football game. 

Do you have weekend plans? I plan to work on some upcoming webinars that are scheduled for November and December. I also want to bake something for fall. Maybe this or this. I'll also be helping my mom winterize around her home and put out a few fall decorations. And of course watch the Green Bay Packers play in London on Sunday morning.

Poetry Month is Right Around the Corner Are you getting ready for Poetry Month in April? If so, I have some resources to share with you for creating concrete poems. Concrete poems are words written in a shape to convey a poem. They look like this: Recently I went on a mission to search for a site to use with a fellow colleague and her students. They wanted to make concrete poetry on their Chromebooks. There aren't many sites that allow the user to actually write words into any shape.  There is the Read, Write, Think interactive for Theme Poetry.  Here is what it looks like. I have bookmarks saved on Pinterest, Symbaloo, Listly, Delicious, Diigo, Etc. Guess what, sometimes I have a hard time finding what I bookmarked.  :) So I'm curious to know what you use and if you have a favorite.
