Happy halfway mark everyone!  Let the second semester begin!

Here is a presentation I put together on two incredible apps. Quizalize collects very helpful data on student results from a quiz and Padlet has many unknown features. Enjoy!

I’ve spent quite a bit of time this past week putting these tips to use.


I’m thinking about ordering this to fix all of the broken things I have lying around. From my broken charging cord for my phone to the missing tassel on my wallet. 4.3 out of 5 stars is a good rating in my opinion.

This week students in the Innovation Lab shared that these are the kinds of quizzes they like to take.

This looks like a helpful close reading checklist for our students. Downloadable and ready to use.

Poetry Month is Right Around the Corner Are you getting ready for Poetry Month in April? If so, I have some resources to share with you for creating concrete poems. Concrete poems are words written in a shape to convey a poem. They look like this: Recently I went on a mission to search for a site to use with a fellow colleague and her students. They wanted to make concrete poetry on their Chromebooks. There aren't many sites that allow the user to actually write words into any shape.  There is the Read, Write, Think interactive for Theme Poetry.  Here is what it looks like. I have bookmarks saved on Pinterest, Symbaloo, Listly, Delicious, Diigo, Etc. Guess what, sometimes I have a hard time finding what I bookmarked.  :) So I'm curious to know what you use and if you have a favorite.
